Who We Are
About the Sacramento Association of Nigerians
For over two decades, SAN has been the heartbeat of the Nigerian community in Sacramento — preserving our heritage, uplifting our people, and building bridges to a brighter future.
Our Story
Our Story
The Sacramento Association of Nigerians was founded in 2005 by a small but passionate group of Nigerian immigrants who recognized the need for a unified voice and a welcoming home for Nigerians settling in the Sacramento region.
What began as informal gatherings around shared meals and cultural celebrations has grown into a thriving organization with hundreds of members, a robust calendar of events, and deep roots in the Sacramento community. SAN has become a trusted institution — a place where Nigerians find belonging, support, and pride.
